DENTAL WASH (SCALING)

A SMILE DESIGNING is the process of improving the appearance of the smile through one or more cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as dental veneers, composite bonding, tooth implants and teeth whitening. A smile makeover takes into consideration your facial appearance, skin tone, hair color, teeth (color, width, length, shape and tooth display), gum tissue and lips to develop your ideal smile. Smile makeovers are performed for many reasons and customized according to your unique considerations.

1. COMPOSITE BONDING

7. SMILE DESIGNING

It replaces ur missing teeth       ( less than 9 in an arch ) with a traditional acrylic base. It is removable.

An extraction means to have a tooth removed, usually because of disease, trauma or crowding.
If you need an extraction, your dentist will first numb the area to lessen any discomfort. After the extraction, your dentist will advise you of what post extraction regimen to follow. In most cases a small amount of bleeding is normal. The extraction site slowly gets healed up normally within a period of 7 days.

A filling or restoration is done in those teeth that have been attacked by micro organisms.  A carious tooth looks discoloured and damaged from inside. A restoration removes the damaged portion of your tooth and fills it with tooth coloured dental material to give you the appearance like your natural tooth.

2. DIASTEMA CLOSURE

It is a specialised department of dentistry that deals with gum diseases and disease of the bone that surrounds the tooth.

This includes :-       1. DEEP SCALING AND ROOT PLANING- When infection extends deep beyond the gum level, this procedure is performed to cure the infection and attach the periodontal fibres back at their place. SOFT TISSUE GRAFT SURGERY- Patients in whom the gingiva has receeded , the teeth looks slightly longer than before and sometimes roots become visible, this is the procedure to correct the fault. It brings back tooth to their original size and ur smile too.

                                        4. BONE GRAFT SURGERY- Patients with bone loss around the tooth leading to loose tooth, pain or food lodgement are advised for this procedure in which a bone graft is added at the deficient site to treat the problem.

                                        5. FRENECTOMY - It is the procedure of surgical removal of frenum ( a soft tissue fold ) in maxilla and tongue leading to tongue tie. Frenum in maxilla creates space in between your front two teeth. It is compulsarily done prior to orthodontic treatment to prevent relapse.
